Dedham Food Pantry

St. Paul's Church has a longstanding relationship with the Dedham Food Pantry. Members of our parish take the lead on staffing the Food Pantry during the month of April as well as volunteering at other times throughout the year. We also collect food donations at weekly services and support special fundraising efforts for the Pantry. Last year, several parishioners participated in a baking event to supply homemade pumpkin and apple pies for the pantry to distribute for Thanksgiving meals.

Heifer International

Members of St. Paul’s have generously supported Heifer International through our Heifer Honor Cards Table during the Christmas season. During the last few years, Heifer has recognized our parish as contributing enough to purchase an “Ark.” To give our youth a more hands-on feel for the types of support provided by Heifer to families throughout the world, the Church School classes took a field trip to the Heifer International Farm in Rutland, MA.

Haiti Mission

Our church has had an active interest in supporting development work in the Haitian village of Juampas. Through a collaboration with HOPEH and the Caroll County Haiti Mission Project, several groups of parishioners have traveled to Juampas, where they have directly assisted in projects related to healthcare and education.
